Why I make these hooks
Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching people to crochet. One thing I've learnt is that the right tools can make all the difference, helping beginners feel more confident and experienced crocheters enjoy longer, more comfortable crafting sessions.
My approach is also shaped by my Calm With Yarn research, which explored the experiences of more than 800 crocheters alongside beginner learners. While every person's experience is unique, the research highlighted how many people value crochet as a creative, absorbing and meaningful occupation. Those insights continue to influence everything I create, from my teaching to the products I design.
